Picking up the action after the final draw, Joao Vieira in the small blind was involved in a hand with Nick Pupillo in the big blind. Vieira checked, prompting Pupillo to bet. Vieira, with just 20,000 behind, made the call and showed down QxXxXxXxXx but was felled by Pupillo's 9x7x6x4x2x, sending the two time bracelet winner to the rail in 10th place.

Aaron Mermelstein opened from under the gun before Ray Henson called off for his remaining stack out of the big blind.

Henson took four on the first draw while Mermelstein opted for two.

The second draw saw Henson take one to Mermelstein's two after which Henson took one more on the final draw. Mermelstein stood pat and turned over Jx5x4x3x2x with Henson tabling 6x4x3x2x. Henson was drawing live but "improved" to a straight after turning over 5x to send him out in 9th place.

Brown drew two which saw Zyrin draw three and Mermelstein drew two. Action checked around to Mermelstein who bet and Brown and Zyrin called.

The following draw saw Brown draw two, Zyrin draw three and Mermelstein draw one. Action checked once more over to Mermelstein who bet and only Brown called this time.

On the final draw, both players drew one which saw Brown move all in for his last chips and Mermelstein called.

Brown's eight-seven was no good against Mermelstein's eight-five and he left the tournament just shy of the final table.

Both Mermelstein and Moriarty took two on the first draw while Hale drew three. Action then checked through to the second draw.

The second draw saw all three players take two cards with Moriarty then leading out. Mermelstein responded with a raise, which Moriarty called.

On the final draw Moriarty took one, Hale two and Mermelstein declined to draw. Moriarty then check-called a bet from Mermelstein but was unable to best his opponent's 6x5x4x3x2x. Hale tabled 5x2xAx, meaning he still had a slim chance to survive. Hale's hopes, however, were dashed after he turned over the 9x with the 8x completing his hand, sending him to the payout desk in 6th place.

All three players took one card on the first draw after which Moriarty check-called a bet from Pupillo.

The second draw saw Mermelstein and Moriarty each take one more while Pupillo opted to stand pat. Moriarty then checked for a second time before calling another bet from Pupillo.

The same drawing pattern was repeated on the final draw. Action then went check-check with Pupillo tabling J♦3♥2♣A♠, a hand that Moriarty could not beat. Mermelstein, meanwhile, held 10♠7♣3♦2♠, bringing his tournament to an end in 3rd place and setting the stage for a heads-up match between Moriarty and Pupillo.

The final draw saw Moriarty take the last two cards of the tournament while Pupillo stood pat. Moriarty checked, Pupillo bet and his opponent called off for his last few chips. Moriarty showed down Kx9x7x4x3x but came up short against the 9♦7♣6♥3♥2♦ of Pupillo, ending his impressive run in 2nd while crowning Pupillo the champion.
