Kessler Rushes To Pay the Blind, Doubles Up

Livello 13 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Allen Kessler 'Chainsaw'
Allen Kessler 'Chainsaw'

As he moved from a recently broken table to his new seat at a new table, Allen Kessler noticed that the button placement would put him in the big blind his very first hand at the table.

Other players might not rush to their seat when they notice from a few tables away that they will be forced into the big blind immediately, but not Allen Kessler.

He rushed to his seat, paid his blinds, then got folded to on the button and shoved for around 40,000 and was met with an immediate re-shove from the small blind.

The big blind folded and set up a runout with Kessler's tournament at risk.

Allen Kessler: AK
Small Blind: JJ

The board ran out A35310 and Kessler was rewarded for rushing to pay the blinds with a full double.

In a 28-minute YouTube video released on Sunday, accused poker cheater Ali Imsirovic wanted to "set the record straight," and in doing so he admitted to some of the allegations against him, but also denied others.

Within 15 seconds after the video began, the 2021 GPI Player of the Year admitted that starting in 2020, he ended up "making a really bad mistake and began multi-accounting MTT's at that time."

Imsirovic, along with Jake Schindler, was accused in 2022 by many of his high-stakes peers of multi-accounting online and colluding during live events. Months later, they were barred from PokerGO Tour events.

The under-the-gun player raised to 9,000 and action folded around to Cody Walker in the big blind who went all in for 42,500 total. The player under the gun called to send the pair to a runout with Walker at risk.

Cody Walker: A10
Under The Gun: A4

The flop came 4Q6, putting Walker behind but not short on outs. The K turn didn't get him there but it did offer additional outs for the double.

Andres Cracks Aces to Bust Opponent

Livello 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Jeckeln Andres raised to 6,500 from under the gun. A player in middle position raised all in for 12,500 total. Action folded back around to Andres who made the call to send both players to a runout with the middle position player at risk.

Middle Position: AA
Jeckeln Andres: Q10

The flop came AK8 which looked good for the middle position player, but it did bring a gut shot for Andres who would waste little time making the straight when the J immediately came on the turn.

The 3 river did not fill up Andres' opponent who stood to head towards the exit as Andres collected the pot.
