As the late registrations are closing, the players still in the tournament have been sent on a 30-minute break instead of a 20-minute break, to allow the dealers enough time to do a color up.
The next break in three levels will be a 75-minute dinner break.
Action was opened in the hijack to 2,500. The cutoff called and action was on Kiran Raina on the button. Raina took a moment to think before landing on a three-bet to the tune of 8,000. The remaining players in the blinds folded and both the hijack and cutoff called.
The Q♦5♣3♦ flop hit the felt and the hijack checked. The player in the cutoff then opted to lead into the three-bettor and put out 16,000. Raina was on the button with about 28,000 remaining in his stack. He didn't take long before moving in for his tournament life. The hijack tank folded and the cutoff snapped.
The cards hit their backs.
Kiran Raina: K♦Q♥
Cutoff: 8♦5♦
Raina needed to fade quite a few outs. The 7♠ turn was clean and the 9♣ river sealed the deal giving Raina a pure double and putting him above average stack for the day.

New in the tournament, Shaun Deeb was in the big blind when the small blind limped. But Deeb didn't want to let his neighbor see a flop so easily, so he raised to 4,000. The small blind called.
The dealer fanned a flop of J♦10♠2♣. Deeb bet 2,500, and the small blind check-called before the 9♦ landed on the turn.
Deeb fired out another bet of 6,000. But here, it was too much for the small blind, who folded.

Action folded to former WSOP Main Event champion Jamie Gold in early position who opened to 2,300. A player in middle position called and the big blind defended.
The A♠7♠8♣ flop hit the felt and the big blind checked. Gold opted to continue for a sizing of 5,000. The late positon player folded and action was back on the big blind. They took about a full two minutes in the tank staring down Gold before making the fold.
Gold scooped and smiled as he turned over the A♥ to show he had the goods.

Javier Tsunamy opened from the button to 2,000, but the small blind three-bet to 5,500. Tsunamy called but didn't play much longer as he folded after the 3,000 continuation bet on 6♦8♦Q♦.
On the next hand, William Kassouf in middle position pushed all his chips in the middle for around 15,000 into the middle. Another player in middle position called, and the others folded.
William Kassouf: A♦3♣
Opponent: K♦J♦
Kassouf was hoping for the aces after the flop J♥Q♠Q♣. But the 10♠ on the turn and the 5♠ on the river led to his elimination. "All in on a 300 blinds pot," he joked while filming the board, before leaving the area.
