Event #77: $777 Lucky 7's
Giorno 1c iniziato
Day 1c of Event #77 $777 Lucky 7’s No-Limit Hold’em will commence at 10 a.m. at the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas and will be the last opportunity for players to bag a stack into Day 2 taking place on Monday, July 10th.
Despite clashing with the World Series of Poker Main Event, an incredible 3,856 entries have been recorded so far, meaning if 3,921 entries are received today, the tournament would have 7,777 entries, satisfying anyone with a hint of OCD! As the final starting flight of this event, it is pretty much guaranteed to be the largest. Last year's entry count was 6,903, so 3,048 entries today will beat that number and continue the summer trend of huge, record-breaking fields.
Plenty of big-name players have already punched their tickets to Day 2, hoping to land the massive guaranteed first prize of $777,777, including David Peters (2,775,000), Alex Livingston (2,200,000), Chad Eveslage (1,205,000), and Patrick Leonard (800,000).
Play will start at 10 a.m. local time with a starting stack of 40,000 and blind levels increasing every 30 minutes with a 20-minute break after every four levels. There will be a 75-minute dinner break at the end of Level 16 (about 7 p.m.) and play will conclude for the day after 22 levels have been completed.
Late registration is available until the end of Level 12 (about 5 p.m.) and players can reenter as many times as they like up to that point and payouts will begin today. Day 2 is on tap for Monday, July 10th at 10 a.m. when all the players who bagged chips at the end of their flights come together to battle for the big money!
Make sure to catch all the action from the Lucky 7's with live updates from PokerNews team throughout the day.

With 5,000 in the pot at the turn with the board showing Q♥J♦7♥9♣, the hijack bet 3,000 and was called by Miguel Fiscal on the button.
The 7♣ landed on the river and the hijack bet 3,000 once again. Fiscal called and the hijack tabled K♥Q♦ for queens and sevens which couldn't beat Fiscal's Q♠J♠ for queens and jacks.

With 14,000 in the middle on a completed board of 9♣7♦5♣4♣Q♦, Nancy Regan bet 3,000 from under the gun. The button raised to 10,000 which was called by Regan.
The button revealed 5♥5♦ for a flopped set of fives, but Regan turned over Q♣Q♠ for a rivered set of queens to take the pot.
