Viet Vo opened to 20,000 under the gun but then Tamer Alkamli moved all in for a little over 200,000.
The action folded back around to Vo who thought for a few seconds before he made the call to put Alkamli at risk.
Tamer Alkamli: 6♣6♦
Viet Vo: A♠8♠
"Eight of diamonds, that's what I want!" VO declared, and just like that, the flop came out 3♠8♦K♥ to give him exactly what he asked for to take the lead. Alkami just shook his head as the board ran out Q♣2♣ to seal his fate and he was eliminated.

Action was picked up on the turn between Jon "Apestyles" Van Fleet in first position, and another player in the cutoff.
The board read Q♦9♥4♣10♠ and Van Fleet bet 40,000 which his opponent called.
On the river 6♠, Van Fleet bet 110,000 and his opponent asked how many green 25k chips he had behind, which Van Fleet showed was six. His opponent raised to 290,000 and Van Fleet called after a few seconds.
The cutoff turned over 8♣8♥ for a pair of eights, which was second best against Van Fleet's A♣Q♠ for top pair, which was good for the pot to push Van Fleet up the chip counts.

Lara Eisenberg: K♥6♠
Jake Schwartz: A♦3♣
The board ran out A♣8♦2♦3♥4♥ and the ace-three made two pair for Schwartz, while the WSOP bracelet winner exited the tournament.
The following hand saw Kane Kalas raise to 24,000 on the button which saw Jake Schwartz call in the small blind and Barbara Enright call in the big blind.
On the J♣8♦7♦ flop, Schwartz checked to Enright who moved all in for 74,000 which saw Kalas fold and Schwartz call.

On a heads-up completed board of 5♦8♦7♠K♦3♦, there was around 200,000 in the pot when Andrew Dean was faced with a 100,000 bet from his opponent.
Dean only had around 110,000 left in his stack so his decision was essentially for his tournament life and he went into the tank for some time.
After a while, his opponent called the clock on him and he was given a 30-second shot clock. As his timer neared zero, he made the call at the last second and was shown Q♣6♣ for queen-high by his opponent. Dean then proudly flipped over J♠J♥ for just a pair of jacks to win the pot.
"Nice call man," his opponent told him, "I thought you were going to let the time expire,"
"Yeah, it was a tough spot," Dean replied as he raked in the pot for a double up while his opponent was then the one left short and ended up busted a few hands later.
