Picking up the action on the turn, Scott Sisler in the big blind was involved in a hand with Scott Hagensicker in middle position. With the board reading 102104, Sisler led out for 30,000. Hagensicker responded by moving all in with the covering stack, putting his opponent to the test. After lengthy consideration, Sisler decided to pick a better spot to risk his tournament life and mucked his cards to take a decent hit to his stack but remain in contention.

Da-Silva Calls Down Perada With a Boat

Chris Da-Silva raised to 1,600 from early position and received two callers before Ferdinand Perada, in the small blind, three-bet to 6,600.

Da-Silva and a player in middle position called, while the button folded. "How do you fold there?" Da-Silva asked as they went three-handed to a 575 flop.

Perada continued for 6,300 and only Da-Silva called. The turn came the 4 and Perada bet another 11,000.

Da-Silva quickly called once more to see the 7 river where Perada fired out 14,000 this time. Da-Silva instantly tossed in a chip to signify a call and Perada showed 99. Da-Silva, though, had 44 for the turned full house to get an early boost to his stack.

Ramsower check-called a 6,500 bet from Estes on the 4310 flop and then both players checked on the Q turn.

The K completed the board and Ramsower checked once more, prompting a 15,000 bet from Estes. Ramsower announced a call and Estes tabled AK for top pair, top kicker. Ramsower mucked and Estes added to his stack.

Quintin Gets Paid With a Boat

In a pot with close to 7,000 in the middle on a flop showing 1072, a player in the big blind checked to the under-the-gun player who tossed out a bet of 2,900. Thierry Quintin raised to 8,500 on the button and the big blind put in a check-raise to 14,400, which only Quintin came along.

The 10 hit the turn and both players checked their options to the 8 river. The big blind tossed out a small bet of 6,500 and Quintin grabbed raising chips, bumping it up to 33,000. His opponent snap-called and the cards were shown.

Quintin rolled over 77 for sevens-full and his opponent flashed A10 before tossing it in the muck.

Lococo Out After Getting Kings Cracked

Alejandro Lococo opened to 1,600 from under the gun and Steve Wakeman defended from the big blind.

Both players checked the K86 flop leading to the Q on the turn. Wakeman bet 2,000 and Lococo made the call.

Wakeman fired again on the A river, this time for 4,000. Lococo raised to 16,000 and Wakeman quickly made the call.

Lococo tabled KK for top set on the flop but Wakeman revealed J2 for a jack-high flush to take the pot down, leaving Lococo short-stacked with about 12,000 chips left.

Lococo was eliminated a few hands later. According to the players at his table, he got his last chips in with 10x8x suited on a ten-high flop against pocket queens and failed to improve.

Farnes Runs Into Jacks

The dealer turned over 784 and Farnes checked over to Dornelas, who bet enough to put him all in. Farnes quickly called for his last 12,000.

Farnes found himself dominated and at risk, finding no help on the 8 turn or 10 river as last year's sixth-place finisher was sent to the rail early on Day 2d.
