Wang's 10♦9♦ were still visible and so were Tang's J♥7♥ while the board read 7♠10♣2♣7♦3♥ as Wang had flopped a pair of tens while Tang had turned trip sevens to knock Wang out of the tournament and get closer to the bubble.

Gravlien Busts versus Vijayaratnam in Massive Pot

The board 10♦4♥9♠3♥7♣ was already dealt with a pot containing around 500,000. Senthuran Vijayaratnam moved a pile of chips in front of him for a bet worth 500,000, putting Bjorn Gravlien at risk for a remaining stack around 290,000.

After a few minutes of thinking, Gravlien eventually called, but only to see 3♠3♦ in Vijayaratnam's hand for a set of threes.

Gravlien quickly made his way to the exit while the dealer showed he held A♣10♣.

Valdez Hits Miracle River to Score Double-Up

The action folded to Fausto Valdez in the small blind, who opened for 32,000, leaving 23,000 behind. Allen Shen made the call in the big blind and the flop fanned out 9♠6♠4♠.

Valdez tanked for a while until the clock was called and then led out for 15,000. Shen moved all in and Valdez again went deep in the tank. After a second clock was called, Valdez eventually tossed in his last 8,000 and the cards were shown.

Shen flopped a flush and had the cowboys of Valdez in rough shape, but when the board ran out 10♣3♠, it was the river that saved the day for Valdez to make a bigger flush and score the double-up close to the money bubble.

Tubi Chops With Moneymaker for Tournament Life

Chris Moneymaker opened to 16,000 with the A♦2♦ and Kfir Tubi went deep into the tank out of the big blind with just the 6♣ showing. Tubi eventually called and they headed to the A♠10♣5♦ flop. Tubi tanked for more than a minute before checking and Moneymaker bet 15,000.

Tubi tanked more thereafter and asked "you hit the ace?" before he eventually called all-in as his A♥6♣ was finally revealed.

The 4♠ turn was a "fun card" according to Dominik Nitsche but the 4♣ river ensured a split pot.

In the background, the hand-for-hand announcement could be heard.

Adam Dunkle shipped all in for 27,000 in early position and the action eventually folded around to Andrew Hawksby in the big blind after a few minutes. Hawksby quickly called and the cards were tabled.

The board ran out 9♣4♣3♦10♦4♠ and Hawksby's pair of queens were just good enough to eliminate Dunkle and his jacks. After the hand, the tournament director instructed the entire table that they would be on a 10-second shot clock because of the excessive tanking.

Clock Called Twice on Grogan, Heelis Shows the Bluff

In the big blind was Danny Grogan, who checked the action to Connor Heelis on the button. Heelis bet out 55,000.
Grogan thought for long enough that the clock was called. In the final remaining seconds that his hand was live, he made the call.

Grogan checked again on the 5♠ river. Heelis bet out 170,000, the remainder of Grogan's stack. Deciding for his tournament life, Gorgan had the clock called on him on back-to-back streets. As the floor counted down his final five seconds, he made the fold.

Heelis tabled J♣8♠ to show he made the move with just jack-high.

Pentefountas: "Keep it Clean!"

Ioannis Pentefountas had bet 55,000 from the big blind and Hajime Watanabe moved all in with a covering stack, applying maximum pressure with the money bubble being only a few eliminations away. With a pained expression on his face, Pentefountas flicked in the call and was at risk.

Pentefountas had flopped the nuts with top set, but Watanabe was very live with the possibility of catching any club for a flush or running cards for a straight.

"Keep it clean. Keep it clean," Pentefountas beckoned as the board ran out to decide his fate.

"Good card" Pentefountas commented as the K♦ came on the turn, removing the runner straight possibilities for Watanabe.

The river was the 10♠ and Pentefountas stayed alive, securing a full double-ip while Watanabe's stack was cut in half.
