Primo All In...Niente Call ma comunque Interessante

Heads up al flop, il cutoff David Lawrence punta su un flop {A-Diamonds}

, e il bottone Dominic Kay rilancia a 4,325. Dopo una lunga pasua, Lawrence dice "Io chiamo." Il turn porta il {5-Hearts}

, e ancora una piccola bet di Lawrence. "Raise," dice Kay, prima di contare il call (3,000) e poi contare la giusta somma per il raise, altri 8,250.

Lawrence annuncia l'all in, che fa fare a Kay un monologo interno, esternalizzato con questi commenti:

"Mi puoi dire se mi copre...oh, io lo copro, ma non voglio ritrovarmi azzoppato [dovrebbe chiamare 28,175]...Solo coppia di Sei. Quando ho rilanciato, mi ha guardato disgustato, come se volessi passare..."

Con nessun commento dal suo avversario in all in, alla fine Kay batte sul tavolo, lasciandogli il grosso piatto ma rimanendo comunque in gara.

Pochi Ritardatari

Con pochissime eccezioni, ogni giocatore rimasto in gioco per cercare di vincere il titolo del Main Event £10,000 WSOPE si è presentato in tempo, ha preso posto con una espressione determinata e sta pazientemente attendendo lo "Shuffle Up and Deal". I Chip leaders e quelli in disperato bisogno di stack stanno tutti puntando ad un altro giorno di gioco e potenzialmente anche al quel pezzo di gioielleria pokeristica.

L'atmosfera oggi è tranquilla, ma ci si aspetta che cambi quando giocatori come Stuart Fox, Johnny Lodden, Vicky Coren, Jeff Garza, Karl Mahrenholz e Florian Langmann si troveranno faccia a faccia a giocare.
