Lange Claims Tesul's Bounty

Jessica Tesul moved all in preflop for 19,000 and was called by Daniel Rezaei and Daniel Lange.

The flop came K♠5♦4♦ and Lange bet 15,000 which got Rezaei to move out of the way.

Lange connected on the flop and improved to trips after the A♠K♦ completed the board to send Tesul to the exit. The 2022 WSOP Ladies Champion told PokerNews that she wasn't going to rebuy and would come back fresh and relaxed for tomorrow's WSOPE Main Event.

Llapi Sends Out Pastore

Mario Llapi opened to 4,000 from middle position and received calls from Stefan Schoss in the hijack, Jonathan Pastore in the small blind and Johannes Steibel in the big blind.

The flop came Q♠8♣3♦ and action checked around to Llapi who bet 5,000. Schoss got out of the way before Pastore moved all in for roughly 30,000. Steibel folded and Llapi made the call with a covering stack to put Pastore at risk.

Pastore had flopped top pair but needed running cards to pull ahead of Llapi's flopped set. The Q♣ gave Pastore trips but the 2♥ river was a blank. Llapi's threes full of queens were good at showdown and he collected a sizable pot while Pastore was sent to the rail.

Cickekdemir Makes Stupendous Hero Call

Curatolo Leaves Tantillo on the Brink

Earlier Nolan Curatolo left himself with 1,000 chips, but failed to spin it up and has since reentered. Fausto Tantillo in the hijack bet 2,400 and Curatolo called on the button.

Both players checked the flop of K♥10♣2♣, but Tantillo bet 2,200 on the 7♣ turn which was called by Curatolo.

The 7♥ came on the river and Tantillo checked. Curatolo over-jammed for 26,500. Tantillo went into the tank for a couple of minutes before opting to call. Curtalo tabled K♣J♣ for a flush and Tantillo showed the 10♦ before mucking his hand.

Tantillo was left with 1,300 chips after the exchange. Can he spin up where his fellow countryman couldn't?
