Stone Picks Off Neychev on the River

Livello 20 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Around 300,000 was already in the pot as Jacob Stone and Krasimir Neychev went heads-up to the A310 flop. Stone then bet 35,000 from the big blind and Neychev called on the button.

The turn was the Q and Stone led out for another 85,000. Neychev again called and the 7 fell on the river.

Stone checked this time and Neychev bet 125,000. Stone used up a time bank before calling.

"You win," Neychev said as he turned over JJ. Stone showed AK as he took down the massive pot.

"I thought maybe you had a weaker ace," Neychev added.

Johannes Verhagen raised to 27,000 in middle position and Terry Vlastos called on the button. Alex Keating then moved all in for 69,000 in the small blind, Verhagen reshoved, and Vlastos folded.

Alex Keating: KJ
Johannes Verhagen: JJ

The 7832 board left Keating needing only one of the three remaining kings in the deck to avoid elimination, and he found one as the dealer turned over the K on the river.

"Yes! Sorry," Keating yelled out as he apologized to Verhagen.

"Don't write that down. I'm embarrassed," Keating added.

Short Stack Double for Lewis Against Spencer

Romain Lewis

Having seen his short stack reduced to just 48,000 after not finding any spot to get it in, Romain Lewis jammed the A5 in the small blind. Lewis Spencer peeled his cards in the big blind and called with the 76.

The A84 flop kept Lewis in the lead with top pair, while Spencer had a gutshot. On the 7 turn, Spencer made an inferior pair but the K river changed nothing anymore.
