Ruter Takes One Off Deeb

Livello 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante
Shaun Deeb
Shaun Deeb

Michael Ruter opened the button to 1,000 before Shaun Deeb called from the small blind and the big blind defended.

The A6K flop landed and the action quickly checked through to a Q turn. When it checked to Ruter again he opted to bet for 1,600 and only Deeb called.

The blank 2 rolled off on the river and the action checked to Ruter for the last time. He sat in the tank for a moment and then sized up with a big wager of 7,200. Deeb went into the tank and attempted to use some table talk to get a read. Eventually he tossed in a call and got the bad news.

Ruter tabled J10 for the stone cold nuts and Deeb mucked.

Scott Leaves Obara on Fumes

Livello 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

In a preflop confrontation Drew Scott found himself all in from the button for 49,100 against Jun Obara who slightly covered Scott.

Drew Scott: AK
Jun Obara: AQ

Obara was in rough shape against the bigger ace and the J410 gave Scott the nut-flush draw, giving Obara little hope of taking the pot. The flush came in on the 8 turn leaving Obara drawing dead and after the 5 river Scott secured a full double up while Obara was left with under ten big blinds.

Dijkkamp Bets All Three Streets

Livello 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

Action folded to Lennart Dijkkamp in the cutoff who raised to 800, finding callers in both Frank Smith on the button and the player in the big blind, bringing out the J43 flop.

The big blind checked to Dijkkamp, who continued with a bet of 1,200. Smith called from the button before the big blind got out of the way, prompting the dealer to burn and turn the K.

Dijkkamp paused briefly before reaching again, this time coming out with a bet of 4,000. Smith wasted little time in making the call once more and watching as the 2 fell on the river.

Dijkkamp went for chips one more time and tossed out a bet worth 3,000 before Smith quickly released his hand, conceding the pot to Dijkkamp.
