David Pham opened to 200 and found two callers, including a player on the button and Shane Schleger from the small blind.

Huge Call for Durrrr

Livello 1 : 50/75, 0 ante

On a board reading {J-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{Q-Spades}{2-Diamonds} Tom Dwan bet out 2,550 with about 3,000 in the pot. His opponent raised him, making it 11,500 total. Dwan tanked for about three minutes.

Eventually, Dwan made the call, flipping up {Q-Hearts}{4-Hearts}, for merely top pair. His opponent tabled {K-Spades}{10-Diamonds} for a busted straight draw, and Durrrr was able to scoop the pot, bringing him up over 28,000.

Esfandiari Takes Himself to Value Town

Livello 1 : 50/75, 0 ante

When we caught up with the action, a player in middle position had raised and Antonio Esfandiari reraised from the small blind. His opponent called even though we missed the exact preflop amounts.

The flop came {4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{A-Diamonds} and Esfandiari continued with his agression, betting out 525. His opponent called.

Esfandiari fired again when a {5-Clubs} fell on the turn, this time for 1,200. His opponent again called.

When a {6-Clubs} completed the board, the Magician fired the fourth and final barrel for 2,500. His opponent called. Esfandiari revealed the {A-Spades}{Q-Spades}, which was out-kicked by his opponents {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}.

Esfandiari gained chips early but is now back down to 16,500.

Aggression Preflop; Passivity Postflop

Livello 1 : 50/75, 0 ante

From middle position, a player raised to 250 total. Daniel Negreanu made it 675 from the button only to be four-bet to 1,725 by his opponent. Negreanu wouldn't be that easily pushed off his hand though, as he made it 3,325 to go, which his opponent called.

Strangely enough, the two checked the entire board down as it ran out {Q-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{K-Spades}

Negreanu's opponent flipped up {A-Diamonds}{J-Hearts} for a pair of jacks, but was defeated by the two pair Negreanu made on the turn and river as he tabled {K-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}. Negreanu is now up to about 20,300.

Smith Takes a Hit Early

Livello 1 : 50/75, 0 ante

After a raise preflop and a board reading {k-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}, Gavin Smith fired out a bet of 525 which was quickly called by his opponent. The {7-Spades} turned and Smith continued his aggression by pushing out a bet of 1,125, which again was quickly called. The {9-Hearts} came on the river and Smith checked. His opponent shot out a bet of 3,000 chips.

Smith tanked for a while before saying "There's no way you'd think king-queen is good here." Eventually Smith slapped his cards into the muck, showing the table {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds}. Smith is down to about 13,000.
