DeWitt Crippled

Tom Marchese has taken a near unbeatable lead in his heads-up match against Jason DeWitt.

With the action following a raise, re-raise, re-raise format, Marchese would eventually find his last 71,025 in the middle with {K-Spades}{K-Clubs} against DeWitt's {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}.

The board ran out {5-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{4-Spades}{J-Clubs}{A-Clubs} and Marchese soared to over 142,000 in chips.

Haxton Here to Play

Livello 6 : 300/600, 75 ante

In a small blind vs. big blind confrontation, Isaac Haxton completed from the small and his opponent raised to 2,000 from the big. Haxton wasted litle time going all-in for about 24,000 total. His opponent tanked hard, but eventually mucked.

Haxton showed the {A-Spades} and mucked his hand.

Haxton is up to 27,000.

Laak Drops The Hammer

Phil Laak
Phil Laak

While playing three-handed, Phil Laak raised to 1,800 from the small blind.

"How much did he raise?" the big blind player asked. "18? Alright 18 more"

Before the player could finish his words Laak dropped a stack of orange chips, worth 5,000 each, in the middle. This bet would put the player in the big blind all in. Clearly a little steamed at Laak's aggression, the player mucked his cards and Laak picked up the pot. The "Unabomber" is currently sitting healthy as the table's chip leader.

Dwan Bites the Dust

Livello 6 : 300/600, 75 ante

We caught up with the action on a {3-Spades}{8-Hearts}{7-Hearts} flop and noticed Tom Dwan was already all-in preflop from the big blind. The small blind fired a 6,000 bet, which got a fold from the only other player in the hand.

Dwan: {5-Spades}{6-Spades}
Opponent: {J-Hearts}{J-Clubs}

Durrrr had a fighting chance with his open-ender, but the {A-Diamonds} turn and {J-Diamonds} river bricked for Dwan, who was eliminated.

Adams Out

Livello 6 : 300/600, 75 ante

We caught up just as Brandon Adams was all-in for his last few thousand, He was called by one player.

Adams: {A-Hearts}{10-Clubs}
Opponent: {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}

The {K-Spades}{2-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{Q-Clubs} board left Adams without a pair, sending him to the rail.

Getzwiller Takes Control

We are unsure of the exact action, but Sean Getzwiller has just found a massive double through Brendon Rubie to take a commanding lead in their three-handed battle.

Getzwiller held {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs} to Rubie's {8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}, and after the board was spread {9-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}, he doubled through to roughly 90,000 as Rubie was left crippled with under ten-big blinds.
