Duhamel Ready to Gamble

Livello 4 : 75/150, 0 ante

Justin Young raised from early position to 250 and received one call before Jonathan Duhamel re-raised to 1,225. Action folded back around to Young who wasted little time sticking his final 3,850. The player who called the initial raise folded and Duhamel thought for a bit before making the call.

Young: {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}
Duhamel: {8-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}

The flop was {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{6-Spades} which put Young way ahead but the {k-Diamonds} turn changed the landscape of the hand. Young seemed nervous about the river, but settled down when it landed the {4-Hearts}. He has now chipped up to 8,100 while Duhamel falls to about 1,200.

Ramos Out

Felipe Ramos was just eliminated from the tournament, even though he got off to a quick start with an early double up. Ramos opened two fives and then called a three-bet before flopping bottom set on the {J-}{9-}{5-} board. His opponent continuation bet and Ramos flatted to see a {6-} come out on the turn. After Ramos' opponent shoved, Ramos made the call. Unfortunately for him, his opponent had turned a higher set with sixes and the river blanked off to eliminate the Brazilian pro.

Cheong Takes Down a Pot

Livello 4 : 75/150, 0 ante

Joeseph Cheong called a raise of 275 from the big blind. The flop ran out {q-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{a-Spades}. Both players checked the flop.

The {4-Diamonds} fell on the turn and Cheong bet 325. His opponent made the call. The {3-Clubs} hit on the river and Cheong bet 1,000. His opponent made the call. Cheong turned over {k-Spades}{2-Spades} to take down the pot.

He now sits with around 6,000 in chips.

Martin Kabrhel Keeps Counting Chips

When we got to Martin Kabrhel's table we found a player all in for 2,500 on a flop of {Q-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}{3-Spades}. Kabrhel then reraised making it around 5,000 to anyone else who wanted to see a turn. After a few moments of contemplation the player on the button folded.

Cards were then flipped and it was Kabrhel's {3-}{3-} that was ahead, against the all in player's {A-}{A-}. A {9-Clubs} turn changed nothing, and it was to the river to see if Kabrhel's set of threes would hold.

A river {Q-Spades} allowed for Kabrhel to win the pot with a full house, threes over queens. The player who almost made the call on the flop exclaimed he had {A-}{Q-} in disgust, we are not quite sure if he realized he would have lost.

Sebok Triples Early

Joe Sebok was able to triple up early on with pocket aces. He was up against Tommy Vedes and his two kings along with one other player and his two queens. Seboks aces held and he moved to 12,000 in chips. Vedes was left with just 100 in chips after the hand, but has since run it back up to just about the starting stack.
