Genefredo Legaspi Eliminated in 17th Place ($17,486)

Genefredo Legaspi Eliminated in 17th Place

From under the gun, Genefredo Legaspi made a raise to 110,000, leaving himself with just 1,000 behind. Justin Cohen was on the button and didn't see the stack of 22 red chips worth 5,000 each sitting in the middle of the table that represented Legaspi's near all-in raise. He tried to make it 35,000 but eventually just called when he figured out what was going on. The dealer made sure to let the players know that Legaspi was not all in.

The blinds folded, the flop came {9-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} and the players got it in. Cohen had {a-Spades}{a-Clubs} and left Legaspi drawing to running cards with {a-Diamonds}{4-Spades}. The turn was the {10-Clubs} and that was all she wrote for Legaspi. Cohen now sits with 925,000.

Rudnik Doubles Through Findlay

We caught up with the action on a {K-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{6-Spades}{A-Spades} board where Andrew Rudnik checked to Alex Findlay who bet 80,000. Rudnick check-shoved for 269,000 more and after a bit of time, Findlay made the call. Rudnik turned over {Q-Spades}{J-Diamonds} for the nut flush which was good for the double up when Findlay mucked.

King Clancy Doubles Through Valkenburg

It was folded around to Paulus Valkenburg on the button who went all in for 420,000. Jonathan Clancy immediately called from the small blind for his stack of 315,000. The big blind folded and the players flipped their cards.

Clancy: {K-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}
Valkenburg: {A-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}

The board ran out {10-Clubs}{3-Spades}{10-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}{5-Spades} and provided no help to Valkenburg who dropped down to five big blinds while Clancy doubled.

John Berreman Eliminated in 16th Place ($17,486)

Shortly after losing the pot to Jonathan Clancy, Paulus Vaulkenburg moved all in from the cutoff for 98,000. Clancy thought for well over a minute before letting it go but John Berreman decided to play, re-raising all in for 186,000. The preflop action was over yet, however. Robbie Verspui was waiting in the big blind and made the call as well. With two players at risk, Verspui was in good shape to knock them both out.

Verspui: {a-Spades}{4-Spades}
Berreman: {q-Spades}{j-Diamonds}
Vaulkenburg: {k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}

The flop came {6-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{10-Diamonds} and just like that Berreman had gone from worst to first. But he turn changed all of that when it fell the {a-Hearts}. Now Vaulkenburg was well in the lead after being in 3rd with two cards to come. Vaulkenburg, despite having hit a pair of Aces, was now drawing dead for the main pot but ahead in the side pot.Berreman needed a King, Queen or Jack to win the side pot and stay alive while only the King would be good enough to split the main pot. The {10-Spades} river bricked out for Berreman and he hit the rail in 16th place.

With that hand, Vaulkenburg triples up to 320,000 and Verspui basically breaks even and remains at around 750,000.

Domenico Palesse
Domenico Palesse

Robbie Verspui raised to 42,000 on the button and Domenico Palesse shoved for 470,000 in the small blind. Verspui made the call and the players flipped their cards.

Verspui: {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}
Palesse: {A-Diamonds}{6-Spades}

The board ran out {8-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{4-Spades}{K-Hearts} and provided no help to Palesse who was eliminated.

Alex Findley Eliminated in 14th Place ($22,099)

Livello 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
Alex Findlay Eliminated in 14th Place
Alex Findlay Eliminated in 14th Place

First into the pot, Andrew Rudnik raised to 45,000. It folded around to Alex Findlay in the big blind and he moved all in for 400,000. Rudnik decided to make the call and the race was on.

Rudnik: {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}
Findlay: {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}

The flop was {6-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} and Findlay was still left wanting. The {j-Diamonds} turn gave him extra outs for a straight but two were already being held by his opponent. The river was the {5-Spades} and eliminated Findlay in 14th place. With the successful flip, Rudnik has now hit 1.15 million chips.
