Marcus showed {6-Clubs} {5-Hearts} {4-Spades} {2-Clubs} but he was pipped out on his value bet by his opponent's {J-Diamonds} {10-Diamonds} {10-Clubs} {5-Clubs} .

Barbieri Busted

After a flop of {a-Spades} {k-Clubs} {5-Spades} Al Barbieri bet out and another player raised enough to put him all in. Barbieri decided to call, putting his tournament life at risk.

Barbieri: {a-Hearts} {a-Diamonds} {q-Clubs} {5-Hearts}
Opponent: {k-Spades} {10-Diamonds} {4-Spades} {3-Diamonds}

Barbieri's set of aces was leading, but the other player held a flush draw. The turn brought the {9-Diamonds} changing nothing, but the {10-Spades} on the river gave the other player his flush and Barbieri was eliminated from the tournament.

Marcus Making Some Headway

Three players saw a flop of {j-Clubs} {8-Spades} {6-Clubs} . The first player to act checked, the second bet 1,050 and Van Marcus called as well as the first player.

The turn was the {2-Spades} and action was checked to Van Marcus who bet 2,000. The first player called while the second opted to fold.

The {k-Spades} fell on the river and both players checked. The first player showed {a-Hearts} {8-Diamonds} for a pair of eights but Marcus held the {10-Diamonds} {10-Clubs} and won the pot.

Marcus is now up to 25,500.
