Brian Rast
Brian Rast

Hand #90

Minh Ly had the button and action folded around to Brian Rast in the small blind. He raised to 190,000 attacking Phil Hellmuth's big blind. Hellmuth called.

The flop came down {A-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{9-Clubs} and Rast bet 180,000. Hellmuth called and the turn came the {2-Hearts}. Rast checked and Hellmuth checked.

The river was the {3-Diamonds} and Rast fired a bet of 335,000. Hellmuth insta-called and announced aces up. He showed the {A-Diamonds}{3-Spades} and Rast mucked.

Hand #91

Brian Rast had the button. He raised again, this time to 180,000. Phil Hellmuth snatched up his small blind, asked Rast how much he had and then called emphatically.

The flop came down {K-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{5-Spades} and Hellmuth checked. Rast fired a bet of 190,000 and Hellmuth made the call with a sigh.

The turn was the {3-Hearts} and Hellmuth checked again. Rast checked behind.

The river was the {9-Diamonds} and Hellmuth checked. Rast also checked. "Pretty good check," said Hellmuth as he showed the {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs} for a rivered set of nines. Rast mucked and slipped even further.
