Rogers Forces Opponent Off Top Pair

Livello 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Wanda Rogers raised to 800 in early position and the player on her left called before the hijack three-bet to 3,000. Both Rogers and the player in the middle made the call.

The dealer fanned a flop of A♠10♠8♣ and Rogers tossed one chip across the line as she announced all in for about 40,000. The player's cards next to act quickly hit the muck but the hijack had a decision.

After about 15 seconds, the hijack decided not to put his 20,000 chips in the middle as he showed the A♦ for top pair. Rogers responded by showing her A♣ and mucking her second card as she scooped the pot.

Raj Vorha is the 2022 winner of this event, but he's currently not able to defend his title, as he's still alive over in the Mystery Millions bounty event. In addition, he recently pulled a bounty worth $25,000!

He has until the start of Level 13 (about 7 p.m.) to enter this event if he busts out of Event #3 and he's certainly got the bankroll to do it!

Two Gents and a Bullet Gone

Cards were on their back and Allen Cunningham was at risk when Pokernews arrived at the table.

Cunningham was looking clear to double on a board that read 9x2x10x6x but when the 4♠ hit the river, Gouveia took the lead with a set, sending Cunningham on his way.

We may see Cunningham back in the field shortly, as there is one reentry available to all runners all the way into the dinner break.

Robert Tries to Play for it All

Frederic Robert raised to 1,200 before the flop in middle position and was called by the hijack and the cutoff.

The dealer spread a flop of 9♥6♥3♥ and Robert continued for 2,200. This time only the cutoff came along.

When the A♦ fell on the turn, Robert paused for a brief moment before jamming his last 11,000 into the middle. The hijack thought about it for a few moments before passing his cards back to the dealer.
