Wingerden Takes Flight

It folded around to Cottrell van Wingerden, who was in the small blind, he made the call. The big blind tapped the table and a flop of J♣9♦7♠ was presented to the players. Wingerden checked, as did the player in the big blind.

The turn was the A♠ and Wingerden checked again. The big blind then placed a bet of 4,500 and Wingerden called. The river brought the 9♣ and, for the final time, Wingerden tapped the table. He was then presented with a bet of 11,500, which he raised to 30,000 after a thoughtful moment.

Wingerden now have four starting stacks to work with and continues to peck away at his opponent.

Pekarek Says Vamos to Ramos

Felipe Ramos raised to 3,000 from the cut-off and was called by Jeremy Pekarek on the button, and the player in the big blind.

The flop was K♣10♣A♥ and got three checks. The turn fell the A♣. Ramos bet 6,500 and Pekarek came along for the ride.

Another bullet came on the river in the shape of the A♠. Ramos sized down and put out a blocker bet of 3,000. Pekarek reraised, Ramos went all in, Pekarek called and covered.
