Nineteen places would be paid, with the minimum payout coming in at $16,264. Notable players busting prior to the money bubble included Daniel Negreanu, Brian Yoon, Shaun Deeb, Dutch Boyd, and Brian Rast. The bubble burst after 26 hands when Yehuda Buchalter was unable to make anything out of a six-five-deuce start to finish in 20th place.

Sitting atop the chip counts is Talal Shakerchi. The British hedge fund manager bagged 1,104,000 to enter Day 3 atop the leaderboard. Despite over a million dollars in WSOP cashes prior to this year, this year's event marks his first time cashing in a WSOP razz event. Narrowly trailing Shakerchi is Carlos Chadha with 1,052,000. Chadha, who finished 12th in 2021's event, will be looking to improve upon his performance from two years ago and obtain his first bracelet.

Also in contention is Nick Schulman, who bagged 337,000. Schulman has already won a bracelet this year in Event #9: $1,500 Seven Card Stud and enters Day 3 looking to add a second bracelet of the summer and his fifth total. Brad Ruben, who has a bracelet in razz from winning the $1,500 event in 2021, bagged 532,000. Six-time bracelet winner John Hennigan also found a bag for Day 3, finishing the day with 346,000.

Those finishing in the money included Daniel Zack (19th - $16,264), James Obst (17th - $17,789), and David "Bakes" Baker (15th, $17,789).

Day 3 will start at 2:00 p.m. local time and will play down to a final table, with later coverage streamed on PokerGo. Level 18 will kick off the day with a 5,000 ante, 5,000 bring-in, and limits at 20,000-40,000. PokerNews will have full coverage of Day 3 until a champion is crowned. Be sure to stay tuned to PokerNews throughout the 2023 WSOP at the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas.
