Michael Moncek completed with a trey and Jerry Wong as the bring-in called with a king. Moncek bet on fourth and fifth street to earn reluctant calls by Wong. He then picked up a king himself on sixth but bet anyways, as Wong took a long sip from his water bottle before coming along.

Moncek also bet seventh street after which Wong swiftly called.

According to the commentators, Wong only had six percent equity on fifth street but got there to scoop and pot and take over the lead.

Overtime: Extra Day Added in Event #33: $10,000 Razz Championship

The Unclaimed Gold Bracelet
The Unclaimed Gold Bracelet

Thirteen players started Day 3 of Event #33: $10,000 Razz Championship looking to take home the top prize of $298,682 and the WSOP bracelet. That dream is still alive for three players, but it will have to wait another day. After seven 90-minute levels (including approximately five hours of three-handed play,) a champion had still not been crowned, and so play concluded a little before 3:00 a.m. local time.

Leading the final three is Jerry Wong, who bagged 3,025,000. This tournament represents Wong's tenth cash in a WSOP event, and he will go into the extra day looking to end this one in victory. Wong spent a good part of the final three as the short stack but rocketed into the lead in the final level.

In second is Michael Moncek, who bagged 2,760,000. Moncek is no stranger to WSOP hardware, having won two bracelets, including one this year in Event #6: $5,000 Mixed No-Limit Hold'em/Pot-Limit Omaha.

Carlos Chadha is also seeking his first bracelet, having bagged 1,590,000. Chadha finished 12th in this event in 2021 and has already improved upon his best prior WSOP finish, a seventh-place result in the 2021 $50,000 High Roller event. Chadha remained in the lead for the majority of the day's play,

Play began with a couple of early eliminations, including Nick Schulman (11th - $23,850) and Day 1 chip leader Roy Thung (10th - $23,850).

The first elimination of the final table was Yuval Bronshtein, whose all-in bet was called by three players before Talal Shakerchi finished him off with a six-five.

Bryce Yockey finished in seventh when he paired a three on seventh street. Yockey was the final player eliminated before the PokerGo Livestream.

The live stream began with six players. Hall of Famer John Hennigan, who started the day in tenth, finished in sixth place when he was unable to improve on a queen-eight against a queen-seven.

Fifth place went to Shakerchi, who was the Day 2 chip leader. Shakerchi found himself playing the most hands of anyone at the table, and a few bad runouts put him in danger. His last chips were taken by Chadha, who hit an ace on seventh street to eliminate Shakerchi.

Sion finished in fourth place. He moved all in with a seven-three-two after three cards but received two more threes and was unable to overcome Wong's nine-eight.

Play resumes at 3:00 p.m. on June 16 at Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas and will play down to a winner. Stay tuned to PokerNews for full coverage of Day 4, as the gold bracelet will find itself in the hand of one of the three remaining players!
