Hott Wins With a King

Livello 15 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 0 ante

2-7 Triple Draw

Hye Park bet after the first draw and was called by Justin Hott and Walter Chambers.

Park and Hott took one, while Chambers drew two. All three players checked and took one on the final draw.

Action checked to Hott who now fired out a bet. Park quickly mucked, but Chambers starred down his opponent for a few moments before calling.

"King," Hott said with an air of resignation as he was prepared to surrender the pot. Chambers, though, showed an ace and Hott, much to his surprise, won the pot.

"Holy shit," he cried out.

"Did you fold the winner," tablemate Schuyler Thornton asked Park.

Vitch, Lorgeree Check a Scary Board

Livello 15 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 0 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

Heads-up on a flop of QJ6, Chris Vitch bet 5,000 from middle position before Doug Lorgeree raised in the big blind to 13,000.

Vitch called as they saw the 10 fall on the turn. Lorgeree fired out another 17,000 and Vitch called once again.

The 9 river put four to a straight flush on the board and Lorgeree slowed down and checked. Vitch checked behind and Lorgeree showed AQ for top pair. Vitch, though, had KQ for a rivered straight to win the pot.

"I folded the ace of diamonds," tablemate Philip Sternheimer said as no one at this table, which also includes Mori Eskandani, admitted to folding the potential straight flush.
