Wagner Out Front on Day 2 of Event #38: $10,000 Limit 2-7 Triple Draw Championship
Welcome to Day 2 of Event #38: $10,000 Limit 2-7 Triple Draw Championship here at the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas. Of the 45 remaining players, Michael Wagner enters Day 2 as the chip leader after bagging 284,000 in chips last night.
Wagner will have some stiff competition in the pursuit of his first bracelet, however, as just behind him in the counts is five-time WSOP bracelet winner Adam Friedman (279,000) and three-time bracelet winner Ryan Leng (273,000) along with several other poker talents looking to claim a piece of WSOP glory.
Incredibly, Friedman has won a bracelet at the WSOP every year since 2018, (not including 2020 as the World Series of Poker was held online). A win in this event would be his first bracelet in a 2-7 Lowball event and add to his $4 million in career tournament earnings to date.

Cards will be back in the air at 1 p.m. local time on Level 11, which features 2,000/4,000 blinds and 4,000/8,000 limits. Levels will last 90-minutes each and play will conclude for the day after seven levels have been played. A ten-minute break will be held after each level and players will get a 60-minute dinner break at the conclusion of Level 14 (~7:30 p.m.)
Late registration will remain open until the start of play today and several more notables are expected to sit down with fresh, albeit short, stacks in hopes of quickly running them up.

Alex Livingston raised from the cutoff and action folded around to Viktor Blom, who called all in for his remaining stack. Nick Guagenti also called from the big blind.
Everyone drew two on the first draw and Guagenti check-called a bet from Livingston.
Blom and Guagenti drew two on the second draw and Livingston stood pat. This time Guagenti check-raised a bet from Livingston and Livingston called.
Both players stood pat on the end and Livingston called a bet from Guagenti, who tabled 8x6x5x3x2x. Livingston and Blom couldn't beat it and Blom was sent to the rail.

Global Poker Grand Prix Turbo Series Montreal Edition Runs June 16-18

Social poker site Global Poker will be hosting another exciting series that runs right into the upcoming Montreal Formula 1 race.
The Grand Prix Turbo Series Montreal runs from June 16-18 and features four daily Gold Coins (GC) tournaments and four daily Sweeps Coins (SC) tournaments. Both series wrap with the biggest event of them all — the Main Event.
Glaser Beats Bonyadi for a Double

Benny Glaser raised from the button before Farzad Bonyadi three-bet from the small blind and both players traded bets until Glaser was all in for around 20,000.
Bonyadi was pat on all three draws and Glaser took one on the first draw before he stood pat the rest of the way.
"Eight," Glaser said.
"Eight what?" asked Bonyadi as Glaser turned over 8x7x6x4x2x for the #15.
Bonyadi shook his head and flashed the losing hand before he tossed it in the muck. Both of these players have a bracelet in the lower buy-in version of this variation.
Meanwhile, Philip Sternheimer and David Funkhouser have busted at other tables.

Seidel Gets a Fold

Sumir Mathur raised from under the gun and was called by Erik Seidel in the big blind.
Both players drew two and Seidel led out for a bet, which Mathur called.
Seidel drew one and Mathur drew two on the second draw and Seidel bet again. This time Mathur folded and Seidel chipped up a bit.
