After betting 40,000 on the flop of 7♠7♦6♠, heads-up opponents Kirk Banks and Brian Ng decided to check through the turn 9♣ and went straight to the river 8♥.

This saw a bet of 125,000 from Banks but then Ng ripped it all, covering Banks.

Banks went into the tank briefly as Ng drank some of his water. after around 30 seconds or so, Banks said "screw it" and pushed the rest of his stack into the middle, putting himself at risk. Ng then announced he only had eight-six for two-pair while Banks proudly flipped over 9♦10♠ for a made straight on the river to take down the big pot.

Ross Gets Ace High Through

There was three-way action after the flop on a board showing 9♥2♣9♣, and the pot was a little more 100,000.

Mark Ross was involved in the hand at the cutoff, and he faced off against a player in the big blind and the player on the button. Not ideal poker conditions to be sandwiched between players, but Ross went to work after the big blind checked.

Ross bet 26,000, which got the button to fold, but Ross faced resistance from the big blind, who called.

The turn brought 10♥ and a check from the big blind. Ross bet 51,000, and his opponent called.

The river showed 6♥ and produced checks from both players. The player in the big blind tabled Q♣4♣ for a busted flush draw, while Ross showed A♥7♦, which was good enough to win a big pot.

Davila Forces Distenfield to Laydown

The 3♦ paired the board on the turn and Davila bet 55,000 which produced a fold from philanthropist Distenfeld who famously donated all of his $204,063 winnings after winning the $1,500 Shootout in 2021 and is proudly wearing his WSOP gold bracelet today.

Zouxu is No Fool

On a heads-up completed board of 4♣5♣K♠7♠3♣, there was over 150,000 in the pot when Zhengxiong Zouxu was faced with an all-in bet from his opponent.

Zouxu did hesitate to make the call, to which his opponent sighed and showed A♠10♠ for a bricked flush to leave him with ace-high. Zouxu then tabled K♥6♦ for a rivered straight to take down the sizeable pot, eliminating his opponent.
