An incredible 7,930 entries have been registered so far making this the biggest Seniors event of all time.

The 4,238 entries for Day 1b alone would have beaten every single field pre-2012.

But the record-breaking event's numbers are continuing to grow, with late registration open until the end of the dinner break after Level 8, the tournament should easily break the 8,000 figure.

Bagheri Shows a Monster

Livello 5 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

With an early position raise and a call in front of him, David Bagheri reraised from the big blind. The original raiser came along but the caller passed.

On a flop of A39, Bagheri wasted no time in betting again. The early position player folded swiftly and Bagheri couldn't resist flipping over AxAx having flopped top set.

Stepuchin's Powers of Confusion Yield Results

With 15,000 in the middle on a completed board of AK5QK, Frank Stepuchin bet 6,200 from the button.

When their opponent in middle position was considering their options Stepuchin asked "Have you ever eaten a cigar?" whilst spinning a football.

The oddball tactics appeared to work as the middle position made the call. Stepuchin tabled 55 for fives full of kings, while the frustrated middle position tabled AQ for top two pair with top kicker.

Stepuchin told PokerNews that he will be providing chicken wings and beer to all of their tablemates after Level 6. Players breaking will hope to be assigned to 'Frank the Tank's' table to get a free meal.
