Shannon Shorr raised to 3,000 from early position. When it folded around to Ryan DePaulo he immediately put a stack of pink 5,000 chips forward for a raise to 40,000.

Slezak Wheels Himself Out of Danger

Livello 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,500 ante

The button raised to 3,000, and then small blind three-bet to 12,000. Without hesitation, WSOP bracelet winner Robert Slezak moved his 16,000 stack into the middle. The button folded, and the small blind called.

Each took one card, with the small blind catching a 10x9x7x5x3x. Slezak showed that was no where good enough, and he revealed Ol' Number One, 7x5x4x3x2x.

"Make sure to refer to me as 'Bracelet Winner Robert Slezak' when you post this," he requested.

"I can feel myself warming up. I'm going to knock someone out," said Dustin Dirksen as the cards were coming out.

True to his word he raised 3,000 from early position, and from middle position Allen Cunningham called all in.

Dirksen and Cunningham each tossed one card. Dirsken added an Ax to his 7x6x4x2x, while Cunningham's 9x7x5x2x was spoiled by another five, and Dirksen scanned the table for his next victim.

In a battle of the blinds, Young Ko moved all in from the big, and after some jibing wordplay, Chino Rheem called.

Rheem drew one, and the Ko had a decision to make with his convertible jack Jx9x6x4x2x.

He opted to stand pat, and Rheem began an agonizing squeeze. "It's a no-sider," he said excitedly, but then revealed that it was a three that paired his hand, and Ko doubled up.

Sprungl Pulls Off Audacious Bluff

Livello 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,500 ante

Kenneth Po opened to 2,500 from middle position before Benjamin Rolle three-bet to 8,000 in the cutoff. Troy Sprungl then cold four-bet to 20,400 out of the small blind, getting a quick fold from Po. Rolle went into the tank, thinking over his decision for quite some time. Eventually he decided to let his hand go but was shown the bad news after Sprungl turned over 4x4x3x2x2x for the bluff. "That's why I didn't have very many of those" remarked Rolle as he watched his chips shipped Sprungl's direction.
