Lindgren Doubles Through Quevedo

Pot-Limit 2-7 Lowball Triple Draw

Erick Lindgren called 50,000 from early position and Federico Quevedo raised to 200,000 from the button, with Lindgren making the call.

Both players drew two the first round and Lindgren checked over to Quevedo, who put out a pot-sized bet of 500,000, enough to put Lindgren all-in.

Lindgren would make the call for his tournament life.

The second round of drawing saw Lindgren taking two and Quevedo drawing one this time.

On the final round, Lindgren drew one and with Quevedo standing pat, the cards were on their backs.

Lindgren would need to draw a ten to chop or better than a ten to win outright, and after the dealer delivered his final draw card face down, Lindgren squeezed to reveal a 9x for the double.

After the first draw, Julio Belluscio bet 175,000. Federico Quevedo called, Hye Park potted, and Belluscio reraised enough to put both players all in. There was a long tank while it seemed like Quevedo was considering his options, but it turned out that he wasn't aware the action was on him. Once he folded, Park called all in.

Both players then patted. Now faced with the final decision, eventually Park chose to break. Belluscio showed 8x7x5x4x2x and Park 8x4x3x2x, his tournament life depending on any five, six or seven. But it was not to be as he drew a queen, and his deep run ended in sixth place.

Quevedo Bullies Lindgren

Erick Lindgren raised to 150,000 from the button and Federico Quevedo defended his big blind. Quevedo took one while Lindgren drew two.

Quevedo checked and when Lindgren followed up for 125,000, Quevedo sprung the all-in check-raise, and Lindgren was forced to release.

"Show the bluff," said Lindgren, but Quevedo just smiled, mucked, and took down the pot.

Glaser and Gluszko Clash in Three-Bet Pot

Benny Glaser raised to 110,000 from late position and Tomasz Gluszko three-bet to 325,000 from the button, with Glaser making the call.

Glaser drew one and Gluszko took two, with Glaser checking post draw to Gluszko.

Gluszko thought for a moment before putting out a bet of 375,000, which sent Glaser into the tank.

After a few moments of deliberation, Glaser made the call and then mucked to the two pair of Gluszko, whose hand read A♠A♥K♠K♦Q♦.

Anthony Zinno, the shortest stack as the players returned from dinner, took the first opportunity to get it all in, and was called by Federico Quevedo.

The dealer spread a flop of 4♦Q♦6♣ and Zinno took the lead with two pair, sixes and fours, while adding the better low draw.

The J♠ turn kept that low from coming in, and gave Quevedo outs to a straight.

Which is exactly what happened when the worst card in the deck for Zinno hit, a 10♠ that both made Quevedo's straight, but also kept Zinno from chopping with a low.

Seemingly unscathed, the always good-spirited Zinno said his goodbyes to the table.
