Event #73: $2,500 Mixed Big Bet
Giorno 2 completo
Day 2 play started with 146 players at Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas, whittling down to a high-profile 24 big-bet pros remaining by the end of the day. Everyone returning on Day 3 will be guaranteed a minimum of $5,938, with the eventual winner taking home $190,240 and the coveted WSOP bracelet.
Poland's Tomasz Gluszko had a banner day, building a huge stack, and winning a fossil by busting 2004 WSOP Main Event Champion Greg Raymer.
Hye Park also distinguished himself on Day 2, climbing up the leaderboard with a knockout of Travis Erdman in a Big O round, and then taking a big pot in No-Limit 2-7 Lowball Draw from Day 1 chip leader Erick Lindgren.
Lindgren trod some rough ground in the middle stages of the day but rebounded to keep himself near the top of the bracket.
But the biggest big bet performer on the day was Jon Turner, who kept accumulating chips until he had risen from an average Day 1 chip stack to a leading stack of 1,444,300 on Day 2. Turner put his extensive experience in 2-7 lowball variants, Pot-Limit Omaha styles, and other mixed games to work, navigating the field in his signature calm and methodical manner. He will be well-situated to bring those skills to bear on Day 3, to attempt to bring home that elusive first bracelet.

No-Limit 5-Card Draw High
Dimitrios Michailidis raised to 27,000 from under the gun and Anthony Zinno reraised all in for 98,000. Michailidis called and each player took one card.
Michailidis had four cards to a heart flush, A♥Q♥8♥5♥ while Zinno had two pairs sevens and sixes. Michailidis did not catch his flush and Zinno got a big double up to end Day 2, and guarantee him a bag and tag for Day 3.

The clock has been stopped and the floor staff announced they will play four more hands before bagging up for the night.
No-Limit Hold'em
Action folded around Xu Zhu on the button, who raised to 18,000, and then called an all-in from the short stack of Neal Liptak in the big blind.
Neal Liptak: 10♥6♣
Xu Zhu: K♥9♣
The K♦K♠Q♦ flop would leave Liptak needing running straight cards, but the 3♥ on the turn shut the door, and the Q♠ sent him to the payout desk.
