Zolotow Swims in Deep Water

Steve Zolotow
Steve Zolotow

Pot-Limit 2-7 Lowball Triple Draw)

Maximilian Schindler raised to 16,000 from under the gun, and Steve Zolotow called from the small blind. Zolotow asked for two, and Schindler three. "Three?" said Zolotow. "That's good news. Or it feels like good news." He then led out for 44,000.

"I'll peel," said Schindler, and called. Zolotow took one and Schindler two. "Am I good?" asked Schindler.

"You could be drawing four and still have a chance," replied Zolotow. He asked the dealer what the pot was, and when he heard it was 132,000 was taken aback. "132,000?"

"You're swimming in deep waters," said Schindler. But Zolotow found the courage to bet the 132,000, and Schindler folded.

"Just a bad eight," said Zolotow, shrugging. "A real bad eight."

Miholich Eliminated by Glaser in Roller Coaster Hand

Livello 18
Kyle Miholich
Kyle Miholich

No-Limit Hold'em

Benny Glaser raised to 15,000 from late position and Kyle Miholich moved all-in for roughly 230,000 from the small blind, with Glaser making the call.

Kyle Miholich: AQ
Benny Glaser: KK

Miholich called for an ace, but the K104 flop did him one better and launched him into the lead with a flush.

However, Glaser had full house outs and wouldn't have to wait long to hit one as the 4 fell on the turn.

But the hand was still not over, as Miholich could catch the J to make a royal flush and stay alive.

Unfortunately, it was not to be as the dealer rolled over the 7 on the river, sending Miholich to the payout desk in 33rd.

Pot-Limit Omaha, Game of the Future

Livello 17

Pot-Limit Omaha

"PLO, game of the future, they've been saying that for twenty years," said Raymond Henson.

"Well now they may actually be right," replied Jeremy Ausmus.

Meanwhile, Anthony Zinno raised to 10,000 from the cutoff, and Ausmus called from the button, and Henson from the big blind.

Ausmus took the lead on the 765 flop, betting 10,000, with Zinno and Henson both calling.

Ausmus followed up with 60,000 on the J turn losing Henson, but not Zinno. Zinno then took over on the 7 river, betting 65,000.

Ausmus dove headfirst into the tank, flipping chips in his fingers, stacking and unstacking the calling chips, until after two minutes he let the hand go.
