Berg Coolers Chidwick

Livello 19 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Stephen Chidwick opened to 30,000 from middle position and was called by Eli Berg on the button as well as Andrey Kotelnikov in the big blind.

Kotelnikov checked following the 483 flop and Chidwick continued for 75,000. Berg responded with a raise to 200,000 which elicited a quick fold from Kotelnikov. Chidwick, on the other hand, responded by moving all in with Berg calling off for his tournament life.

Eli Berg: KK
Stephen Chidwick: QQ

Berg had picked up the better overpair to leave Chidwick drawing thin. The K turn ended any hopes of a miracle comeback with the J river rendered a mere formality as Berg scored a late double up.

Chi and Berg Chop One Up

Livello 19 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Patrick Chi opened to 30,000 from under the gun before Alexandre Reard three-bet to 80,000 from the cutoff. Eli Berg then cold four-bet jammed out of the big blind and Chi called off for less. Reard quickly got out of the way to put Chi officially at risk.

Patrick Chi: AA
Eli Berg: AA

Both players had picked up pocket rockets at the same time and, barring a four or five card flush on the board, would chop up the pot. That is exactly what happened after the board ran out 43573 to hand a small profit to Chi and Berg.
