Play has concluded on Day 1 of Event #9: $1,500 Limit Hold'em at Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas after 15 levels of intense action. Several chip leaders emerged, including Abdul Amer from Ohio (308,500), Howard Mann from West Virginia (290,500), Julian Junker from Germany (233,500), Chris Bartley from Pennsylvania (233,000), Stuart McHenry (195,500), and Hang Xu from China (188,500).
Other notable players who bagged chips at the end of the night include the stylish JJ Liu (156,500), former bull rider Lee Markholt (104,000), and Jeffrey Scheibner (74,000), who finished deep in this tournament in 2018.

Of the 429 entries, only 118 players remain and will return for Day 2, where only 67 players will make the money. The prize pool generated was $591,405.
Play resumes at 1 p.m. local time on June 1 inside the Horseshoe and Paris Casino Las Vegas. The players are scheduled to play ten hour-long levels on their journey toward the prize money. The Day 2 action starts on Level 16, with blinds at 2,500/5,000 and limits at 5,000/10,000.

Action folded around to the hijack who raised to 8,000. Kin Lee three-bet from the small blind to 12,000 and the big blind moved all in for his remaining 12,000 chips. The hijack put in another raise to 15,000 which Lee called, forcing him all in as well.
Players went three ways to a full board with two opponents at risk.

Heads up they saw a flop of 9♠3♥4♦. The big blind took the lead placing a bet and Ingoglia made the call.
The turn peeled the K♣ and both players tapped the table bringing the J♣.
Both players checked the river and Ingoglia tabled A♣5♥, prompting the big blind to muck their hand.
Action folded to William Jensen on the button who raised to 8,000. The big blind three-bet to 12,000 and Jensen made the call.
The flop came down 6♦10♦4♣ and the big blind bet 4,000. Jensen moved all in for his remaining 9,000 and the big blind made the call.
