Boeree Rings Notre Dame's Bell
We picked up the action on the turn in a three-way pot. The board showed , and Pierre Neuville led out into the pot with a bet of 3,500 from the big blind. Julien Notre Dame flatted next door, and the action came to Liv Boeree. She studied carefully, then stuck in a raise to 9,700. That folded Neuville out of the way, but Notre Dame put in the call to see the last card.
It was the , and now Notre Dame led out with 10,000 of his own chips. Boeree took a good pause, then raised all in minus a few chips. Both she and Notre Dame went to the river with about 30,000 in front of them, and Notre Dame had 18,900 left behind after his bet. After some time, he committed the rest of his chips and turned up . Boeree had that soundly beaten with , and her straight to the nine earns her the knockout.
She's still stacking up that pot, but it looks like she's going to be close to the century mark after that double-up-and-then-some.
