Raymond Comes Out Ahead in Blind vs Blond Pot

Livello 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Action folded to the small blind who raised to 4,000. Cody Raymond checked his cards and tossed in the call to bring out the 6J5 flop.

The small blind checked over to Raymond who counted out a bet worth 3,100. The small blind wasted little time in calling before the dealer turned the Q.

Both players checked through to see the A fall on the river.

The small blind led out with a quick bet of 4,000 and was met with an equally quick call from Raymond. The small blind showed the 77 before seeing Raymond turn up the 88 which was good enough to take it down.

Raymond Halts Multi-Way Pot on Turn

Livello 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

On a board reading 394K with three active players, Cody Raymond checked from the small blind before seeing the middle position player bet out for 4,300.

The player in the cutoff called to put action back on Raymond who thought for a moment before tossing in a check-raise to 14,500 which proved to be too much for both his opponent as both hands hit the muck, sending the pot to Raymond uncontested.

Mambour Wins Three-Way All In

Livello 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

After significant action there was a three-way all in between an under the gun player, a middle position player, and Didier Mambour in the big blind.

Middle Position: QJ
Didier Mambour: 10Q
Under the Gun: AK

The dealer burned and turned an action flop with something for everyone on 8K10. Mambour was in the lead with his set and the K rolled off on the turn giving him a full house. The middle position player was then drawing dead but the player under the gun could still fill up. The 7 river would not bring the cooler and Mambour dragged very nice three-way pot to gain new life in the tournament.

Benger Doubles

Livello 7 : 400/800, 800 ante

On a board reading 297J, Griffin Benger moved all in. His opponent in the hand made a quick call and Benger quickly tabled the K6 for the second nut flush.

Benger's opponent wasn't quick to turn over his hand, but once he did, Benger locked up the double as his opponent's A9 was drawing dead headed to the meaningless 5 river.

Stamm is Running Pure

Livello 7 : 400/800, 800 ante

Action folded to the button who opened to 2,600 before getting called by the small blind and David Stamm in the big blind.

The A86 flop landed and action checked through to a 4 turn. The small blind started with a check and Stamm took a moment before putting out a bet of 6,200. The button folded and then the small blind moved all in for about 11,000. Stamm snap called.

The cards hit their backs.

Small Blind: QQ
David Stamm: 75

"It's my day"

Stamm commented as he was running quite well the past few levels. The 2 river changed nothing and Stamm dragged a healthy pot to move back into a top ten chip position.
