Darian Takes It On The River

Livello 24 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Alex Martin opened the betting with a raise to 75,000 from the cutoff. Yashar Darian called from the button as did Jason Somerville from the big blind.

The flop came {9-Spades}{9-Hearts}{3-Clubs} and it checked to Darian who bet 125,000. Somerville folded and Martin threw in the chips. The turn was the {4-Clubs} and this time they both checked. The river was the {6-Spades} and Martin checked for a third time. After a few moments, Darian announced that he was betting 250,000 and began counting out the chips. Martin tanked for a couple of minutes before letting go of his hand and leaning back to tell his rail what just happened.

Atkins Doubles To Over 1 Million

Travis Atkins raised to 70,000 from the cutoff preflop and Yashar Darian made the call from the big blind.

The flop came {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}{2-Hearts} and Darian bet out 85,000. Atkins quickly made the call.

The turn was the {5-Hearts} and Darian checked. Atkins counted out 150,000 and threw it into the pot. Darian considered the action then re-raised all in with an insta-call from Atkins for 540,000 total.

Darian flipped over {10-Clubs}{8-Clubs} for trip tens, but Atikins had {Q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for trip tens with the superior kicker. The river was the {J-Hearts} and Atkins took down the big pot. He now sits with over a million chips but Darian is still comfortable with over two million.

Livello 24 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Yashar Darian Wins a 1.89 Million Chip Pot

From middle position, Yashar Darian raised to 65,000. Diana Allen and Jason Somerville both called in position and the blinds folded.

The flop was {8-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{3-Diamonds} and Darian checked. Allen fired out 110,000, Somerville folded and Darian called. On the {2-Diamonds} turn, Darian led out for 225,000. Allen thought for a minute or two as she stacked out chips and slid forward 725,000. With no hesitation, Darian announced that he was all in. When prompted, the dealer pulled in Allen's raise from both players and Allen was starring at a Million chips still left in front of Darian. She had about 1.4 Million left.

"Do you have Ace-King of diamonds again? Again?" she asked. Darian just responded with a cold stare through his sunglasses. Eventually, she gave up the hand and Darian moves up to 2,890,000 after that hand.

James Schaaf Eliminated in 9th Place ($36,833)

Livello 24 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

From middle position, Diana Allen raised to 75,000 and action folded to James Schaaf on the button. He moved all in for 600,000 and Allen made the call.

Allen: {a-Hearts}{9-Hearts}
Schaaf: {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}

Schaaf was in great position to double up and cross the 1 Million chip mark again. However, the flop was {2-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{a-Clubs} and left him drawing to just the two remaining tens. The turn was the {3-Clubs} and the river {6-Spades} bricked as well. Schaaf, our lone bracelet winner at this final table, is the first to leave.
