A player in middle position opened the action with a raise to 3,000 which was called by two players behind him, including Mark French on the button, and the big blind.
The flop came and the first two players checked. The third player bet 9,000 and French raised it to 22,000. It folded back around to the flop bettor who moved all in. It was another 14,000 for French to make the call and he moved in the chips.

The turn bricked French's flush draw but the river nailed it. With the pot he has easily cleared the six-figure mark with 110,000.
Players are now on a 20 minute break to stretch their legs
We don't know the action preflop, but when we got to our Dutch chip leader's table he was facing a bet of 3,500 on a board of .
Smit then went on to check-raise his opponent and make it 9,500 total. After a couple of seconds of contemplation Smit's opponent folded and donated a few more chips to the monster stack of Smit's

Tim West opened to 2,900 from under-the-gun and found one caller in the big blind.
The flop came and the player in the big blind checked, prompting a 3,800 c-bet from West. His opponent called.
His opponent again checked when a fell on the turn. Not backing down, West fired again, this time for 8,800. His opponent landed on a fold.
It appears Tim West doubled his stack from when we last counted. After this hand, West has climbed to 61,000.
On a board, John Phan fired out 2,800 in position and his opponent called. The turn was the and once again, the opponent check-called a bet, this time for 5,000. The river was the and Phan fired out 9,000. The opponent, who had less than 20,000 left at this point, rolled in the chips and Phan flipped over for a turn-river wheel.
With that pot, Phan has now reached 70,000.
A player opened to 2,700 from early position and Shaun Deeb pushed for his last 23,000 from middle position. The action folded around back to Deeb's opponent, who mucked and some consideration.
"Pocket threes?" Deeb said as he mucked his cards.
"Nah, ace-three suited," his opponent said.
After a fairly break-even first level, Deeb is now up to 30,000.
When we last caught up to Hoyt Corkins we saw him raising under the gun. Corkins was only able to convince one other player, the Big Blind to join him for a flop. After calling the bet the Big Blind immediately checked in the dark.
After all rolled off the action was back on Corkins who checked as well. The turn brought the as well as a bet of 4,000 from the Big Blind. Ever silent Corkins waited a few moments, before reraising and making it 8,000 more to go.
A distraught Big Blind stared at the cowboy for a few minutes before begrudgingly throwing his cards in the muck.

Jason Somerville just knocked out a player at his table with the best hand in poker, the mythical Royal Flush.
Somerville had the player all in preflop, for Somerville, for the other player .
The flop came down to give the other player a set of Queens but Somerville had a draw to the nut flush and he moved his to the center of the table.
The turn was the and Somerville locked up the knockout with his Royal Flush.
Scott Montogmery who is also at Somerville's table then said, "Make sure you write up that he wouldn't have all those chips if he hadn't sucked out on me."
Somerville responded, "He's right, I wouldn't have all these if I hadn't won a flip."
Montgomery then said sarcastically, "FLIP?? I was like 52-48!!"
Either way, Somerville is running hot and has made a big move here early on Day 2.
