Chick Gets A Double Up

Livello 5 : 100/200, 0 ante

A player in middle position raised to 450, and action folded to Kirsty Chick, who moved all in for 2,825. The player in the small blind then shoved all in for 7,500. The original raiser got out of the way, and Chick had her opponent dominated.

Chick: {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}
Opponent: {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}

The board ran out all low cards, coming {8-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}, and Chick held to doubled up to 6,200.

Lizette Crashed, Harwood Smashed

Livello 5 : 100/200, 0 ante
Ebhizzle's busto, fo' shizzle.
Ebhizzle's busto, fo' shizzle.

Marie Lizette called to the PokerNews Live Reporting Team and waved a single green chip in the air. "I'm down to my last 25!" she cried.

As it turns out, Lizette didn't last too much longer after that, but considering that she had her {A-}{A-} cracked in a previous hand by an opponent's {K-}{Q-}, it was always going to be a difficult task to come back from that.

We can also confirm that PokerNews reporter extraordinaire Elissa Harwood has also hit the rail after moving the last of her money in with {K-}{K-}, but despite hitting top set on the flop of {K-}{J-}{10-}, her opponent had her crushed with {A-}{Q-} for Broadway. Yikes!

Game Ho-ver

Livello 5 : 100/200, 0 ante
Maria Ho - busto
Maria Ho - busto

It appears that Maria Ho's first-ever attempt at multi-tabling WSOP events hasn't gone down so well. Having busted earlier in the $2,500 Mixed Hold'em Event over in the Amazon, we can now confirm that she's been busted in the Ladies No Limit Hold'em Championship.

As Danielle "dmoongirl" Anderson recalled to us, Ho moved the last of her money into the middle before the flop with {A-}{Q-}, only to see Anderson wake up in the blinds with {K-}{K-}. The board bricked out and Ho's now out of lives. Boo!

Tilly Gettin' Short

Jennifer Tilly
Jennifer Tilly

A player in the cutoff went all-in for her last 550 and Jennifer Tilly re-shoved her stack from the small blind. The big blind folded and Tilly saw that she was in bad shape.

Tilly: {Q-Diamonds}{10-Spades}
Opponent: {A-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}

The {6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{K-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{K-Hearts} board wasn't enough to crack the rockets and Tilly was knocked down to just 1,100 after doubling her opponent.
