Cunningham Off to a Slow Start

Livello 5 : 200/400, 0 ante
Allen Cunningham (from Event #3): still in it!
Allen Cunningham (from Event #3): still in it!

Five-time WSOP bracelet winner Allen Cunningham has popped up on table 49, but he's now down to 2,700 in chips after losing a pot to Evan Schwartz.

Cunningham came in with a raise from under the gun before the flop and the action folded around to the player in the hijack position who reraised before Schwartz four-bet from the small blind. Cunningham flat-called, but the hijack capped the action.

Schwartz and Cunningham both called and the dealer produced the flop of {5-Spades}{9-Hearts}{10-Spades}. Schwartz checked to Cunningham who bet; the hijack called and Schwartz check-called all-in before Cunningham and the hijack both checked on the turn of the {8-Spades}.

Cunningham then opened on the river {4-Clubs}; the hijack called and showed {J-Spades}{J-Spades}, which was good to take the sidepot off Cunningham. However, Schwartz showed {A-Spades}{A-Clubs} for the bigger overpair and took down the main pot.
