The Money Bubble is Near

Livello 17 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Jeremy Eyer survived a three-way all-in showdown with KJ when Xuming Qi's A7 only made an inferior pair and missed the nut flush on the 754KQ board, as Eyer quadrupled thanks to the antes.

Adrian Mateos boosted his stack with a turn bet in three-way action, as his 30,000 on the Q85K got rid of his opponents including Michael Gagliano.

Burbick Helps Field Closer to Money

Livello 17 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

As the field draws closer to the money, Corey Burbick did his part to help get the field there.

A player in middle position raised to 43,000 before the flop, and left 6,000 behind. Burbick, who was in late position, made the call and the remaining playing with cards folded.

The dealer placed 687 on the board, and Burbick’s opponent bet his remaining 6,000, which Burbick called.

Burkbick: AK
Opponent: QJ

The dealer placed 6 on the turn and 7 on the river, giving Burbick the win and sending his opponent to the rail.

Chip and a Chair for Eyer

Livello 17 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

On the tail end of a heads-up pot to the 104249, Jeremy Eyer faced a bet worth 80,000 by Daniel Dangoor out of the small blind. Eyer tanked for more than a minute and called for almost all of his chips. Dangoor tabled the QJ for a flush and Eyer mucked the A10, dropping to a fraction of the big blind two spots away from the money.

Cheng Takes From O'Hara

Livello 16 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Chen Guang Cheng raised and then called a three-bet to 35,000 by Ian O'Hara, after which he check-called a bet worth 25,000 on the KJ6 flop. Both checked the J on the turn and Cheng then bet the 2 river for 30,000. That was enough to win the pot without showdown, as O'Hara opted to fold.

Song Check-Raises with Nut Flush, Gets Paid Off

Livello 16 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

WSOP bracelet winner Stephen Song raised to 12,000 in early position and was called by the chip leader at the table.

After the rest of the players folded, the dealer placed 1086 on the board, which Song checked. His opponent bet 20,000, and Song called.

The turn produced the 5, which led to both players checking to the river. The dealer put the 3 on the board, and Song checked. His opponent bet 44,000, and then Song check-raised to 179,000. Song’s opponent alternated between looking at Song and the board for a few seconds before reaching for chips and making the call.

Song tabled A6 for the nut flush, causing his opponent to shake his head and show 107 for an inferior flush.
