Dan Zack raised in the cutoff and was three-bet by Allen Kessler in the small blind. Bradley Butcher called all in for his remaining stack from the big blind and Zack called as well.

Kessler drew one, Butcher drew three and Zack drew three on the first draw and then Kessler bet. Zack called.

Kessler drew one again on the second draw, Butcher drew three, and Zack drew two on the second draw. Kessler again bet and Zack called.

Everyone drew one on the final draw and Kessler checked to Zack, who bet.

"It's going to be one of those days," Kessler said as he folded.

Zack tabled 8x7x5x4x2x, which was good for it all and Butcher was knocked out in the early going.

Welcome to Day 2 of Event #30: $1,500 Limit 2-7 Triple Draw here at the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas. Jason Gola enters Day 2 as chip leader of the 166 remaining players after amassing an impressive 221,500 chips yesterday. Second in chips is none other than four-time WSOP bracelet winner John Monnette, who already has two final table appearances in the 2023 World Series of Poker Monnette got fifth place in Event #15: 6-Handed No-Limit Hold’em and fourth place in Event #9: $1,500 Seven Card Stud and will be looking to continue his hot run this series.

Several other top poker talents are still in the hunt, including but not limited to Alex Epstein (182,500), Chris Vitch (144,000), Benny Glaser (126,500), Dan Zack (104,500), Farzad Bonyadi (99,500), Patrick Leonard (92,000), and David Bach (91,500).

Action will get back underway at 1 p.m. local time. Play will resume on level 16, which features 1,500-3,000 blinds with 3,000-6,000 limits. Levels will last 60 minutes each and Day 2, which will conclude after 10 additional levels have been played. Players will get a 15-minute break after every two levels and a 60-minute dinner break at the conclusion of level 21 (~7:30 p.m.)

The money bubble will burst once the field gets down to 78 players, at which point everyone will be guaranteed to take home at least $2,405.
