Aasen Finds a Clean Double-up

Livello 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Rick Aasen opened to 4,000 from early position. Both the cutoff and big blind made the call.

The flop came 654, and the first two acting players checked. The cutoff led out for 5,500, while the big blind found a quick fold.

Aasen cut out raising chips when the cutoff said "I'll beat you into the pot" as he was about to raise. Aasen was not discouraged and raised 21,000.

The cutoff player quickly jammed all in while having Aasen covered. After considering his position, Aasen made the call and both players revealed their hands.

Crazy Hand in Massive Three-Way Preflop All In

Livello 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Action folded to the cutoff, who open-jammed for a little over 60,000. Brian Pedersen pushed all in from the button for slightly less and a player in the big blind who had just sat in the tournament one hand prior called off to create a three-way runout with Pedersen and the big blind player at risk.

Big Blind: AA
Brian Pedersen: KK
Cutoff: QQ

In what quickly became a massive all-in confrontation, all three players were sweating the flop as it came K39, catapulting Pedersen to the lead as a big favorite to triple up and send the big blind player home on the first hand he played.

The turn came the 5, leaving the cutoff drawing dead and pinning the hopes of the big blind on a two-outer with one card to come. But when the river came the K, Pedersen carved his triple-up in stone and sent the big blind home just two hands into his day while the cutoff was left on fumes.
