Baldwin Prevails in Raising War

Livello 28 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Alexandre Reard limped in the small blind and Eric Baldwin checked his option out of the big blind.

Reard checked on the 68K flop and then raised to 475,000 after Baldwin led for 180,000. Baldwin opted to come back over the top, pushing a meaty 1,200,000 into the pot. Reard thought for some time but decided to let go of his hand to concede the pot.

AJ Kelsall opened to 210,000 from under the gun and action folded around to Michael Rossitto in the small blind, who three-bet to 950,000. Kelsall quickly four-bet enough to put Rossitto all in and Rossitto called.

Michael Rossitto: KQ
AJ Kelsall: AK

Kelsall had Rossitto dominated, and the 278J5 runout kept Kelsall best — eliminating Rossitto in seventh place.

Fabrice Bigot Eliminated in 8th Place ($86,118)

Livello 27 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Fabrice Bigot

Stephen Chidwick opened to 200,000 from under the gun and then called after Fabrice Bigot jammed all in for 680,000 out of the small blind.

Fabrice Bigot: A8
Stephen Chidwick: J8

Bigot had Chidwick dominated and looked set to score a double up. The 6210 flop immediately made things dicey for the at risk player as Chidwick picked up a flush draw. Nothing change on the 4 turn but the flush came in on the 7 river to send Bigot out of the tournament in eight place in gut wrenching fashion. With his elimination, the unofficial final table of seven has been set.

Rossitto Escapes With a Chop

Livello 27 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

AJ Kelsall raised to 220,000 on the button and was called by Michael Rossitto in the big blind.

Rossitto check-called a 175,000 bet from Kelsall on the A7Q flop.

The K came on the turn and Rossitto checked again. Kelsall bet 835,000, which was enough to put Rossitto all in. Rossitto called and hands were revealed.

Michael Rossitto: A7
AJ Kelsall: AQ

Kelsall had Rossitto crushed with a higher two pair, but the K river counterfeited both players and they chopped the pot.
