Lehavot Sets Up Palevic

Rifat Palevic check-called a big bet of 100,000 on the {J-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{3-Spades}{8-Spades} board from Amir Lehavot before the dealer landed the {9-Diamonds} on the river. Palevic checked again and Lehavot bet 200,000. Palevic tanked for a couple minutes and then made the call.

Lehavot tabled the {8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} for a set of eights on the turn. Palevic mucked his hand and sent over the chips.

After Dermot Blain raised to 14,000 from middle position and Megrous Kidhir called from the cutoff seat before Joao Barbosa reraised all in for 142,000 from the button. Play folded back to Kidhir and he thought for a bit and then made the call.

Kidhir: {7-Diamonds}{7-Spades}

The board ran out {J-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{J-Spades}{3-Clubs} and Kidhir won the hand to send Barbosa to the rail.

Constant Rijkenberg is Out

Well, it's always fun to watch. Constant Rijkenberg has put on quite a show here over the past two days, but his run at the featured table has come to an end. We couldn't get to the featured table in time to catch the action, but we're fairly sure Rijkenberg was the shover with {A-Hearts} {Q-Hearts} and Giuseppe Sammartino was the caller with {8-Spades} {10-Spades}. That sounds backwards, though, so perhaps those watching the stream know better. In any event, Rijkenberg only had around 200,000, and he was at risk.

The {9-Hearts} {7-Spades} {A-Clubs} flop drew a chorus of, "Oooooh"s from the table as it gave the two men a good sweat. The turn {Q-Clubs} was a blank, but the river {J-Spades} was the crusher for Constant. Sammartino makes his straight, and with it comes the elimination of the start-of-day chip leader. Rijkenberg is out, and the Italian is up over the half-million chip mark.

Leah Shoves

Mike Leah has been riding a short stack for most of the tournament and just moved all in from under the gun for 52,000. Everyone folded and he won the pot. He showed the {K-Clubs}, but his opponents just don't seem to want to give him the chance to double up.

Antonius Down But Up

Patrik Antonius is doing rather well at his talkative table, and he's trending well upwards over the last two hours. He did slip just a bit in the last hand, trying for a double knockout with a draw-y {9-Hearts} {10-Hearts}. Artem Litvinov was at risk but well ahead with {K-Hearts} {K-Clubs}, and Robert Giordano was the shortest of the bunch with {Q-Hearts} {J-Hearts}.

The board ran out {Q-Diamonds} {5-Diamonds} {K-Spades} {5-Hearts} {Q-Spades}, and Litvinov held to nearly triple up. He's still very short, but he's got his chips in a big pile that we can't count for now. We'd guess maybe 130,000?

Mr. Antonius will get a red arrow for this one, but he's still doing very well with 645,000 chips.

Cold Five Bet Anyone?

If you were running a book on the first person to cold five bet then Chris Moorman may well be one of your top picks. Here is Moorman showing the world why it was a good decision to move his table to the live streaming table.

Constant Rijkenberg raised to 14,000, Melanie Weisner three-bet to 37,000, Maria Ho four-bet to 83,000 and Chris Moorman five-bet to 166,000! Rijkenberg and Weisner ran to the hills and the decision rested with Ho. She had around 130,000 behind and took a good five minutes before folding.
