Event #10: €2,000 8-Game Mix
Giorno 1 completo
Wooram Cho has already had some impressive results here at the 2023 World Series of Poker Europe at King's Resort in Rozvadov. He's cashed in six separate events so far, most notably having made the final table in Event #6: €5,000 Pot Limit Omaha, finishing seventh for €28,100. Today he continued on his succesful trajectory at this year's WSOPE by bagging the Day 1 chip lead for Event #10: €2,000 8-Game Mix, finishing the night 604,000 chips, worth 60 big blinds.
Cho has more than twice as many chips as nearly all other players going into Day 2, with the only exceptions being his two closest challengers, Dainius Antanaitis (497,000) and four-time bracelet winner Max Pescatori (355,000).

No-Limit Hold'em
Dainius Antanaitis raised to 8,000 first-to-act and found one caller in Roland Israelashvili from the big blind.
Israelashvili checked to Antanaitis on the 3♥A♣J♥ flop and he bet 8,000. Israelashvili then slid out a stack of approximately 60,000 and Antanaitis immediately folded — sending the pot to Israelashvili.

2-7 Triple Draw
Steven Houghland raised from the cutoff and Jerry Odeen defended from the big blind. Both players drew two.
After the first draw Odeen checked and Houghland bet.
"You look like someone who's about to draw two" Odeen told his opponent before making the call. Odeen drew one while Houghland did indeed draw two.
After the second draw Odeen bet, putting himself all in and Houghland made the call to put Odeen at risk. Houghland stood pat while Odeen drew one.
Jerry Odeen: 7x6x5x2x
Steven Houghland: 8x6x5x3x2x
Odeen was drawing thin against Houghland, who had the seventh-best possible hand, meaning only a three or a four would prevent Odeen from being eliminated. Odeen peeled 4x for his final card to make the fourth-best possible hand and secured a full double up.
"That was magic" Dainius Antanaitis, who was seated at the same table, commented as Odeen scooped the pot.
