Ono Catches More Than A Double

Livello 20 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Action folded to Steven Ono on the button who jammed for his last 30,000. The small blind got out of the way and the big blind called for the additional 10,000 to put Ono at risk and headed to a runout.

Steven Ono: AK
Big Blind: 103

Once the cards were turned up, the big blind said, "Sorry" seemingly predicting that he was going to win with the lesser hand to send Ono home.

Ono responded by simply saying, "Nope".

The dealer burned a card and spread a 3Q4 flop, immediately putting Ono in second place. But when the turn came the K, that all changed and Ono was back in the lead and a huge favorite to find a double.

The J river made it official as Ono locked up a a triple up with blinds and antes included just as the money bubble approaches.

Ono was down to just one single 1,000 chip not that long ago and since has 90x'd his stack, giving himself a real shot and sneaking into the money.

Ida Gets Max Value

Livello 19 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Toru Ida limped from early position and saw a late-position player raise to 40,000. The big blind called and Ida did as well to bring out the J45 flop.

All three players checked through on the flop to bring the 2 out on the turn.

The big blind led out with a bet of 60,000 with Ida calling and the late-position player folding, prompting the dealer to put the J out on the river.

The big blind checked over to Ida who counted out a bet of 80,000. The big blind check-jammed and Ida quickly called and turned over the 55 for jacks full.

The big blind showed J7 before tossing his cards into the muck and counting out chips to send in Ida's direction.

Eidem Helps His Opponent Find the Door

Livello 19 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

On a board reading 45102, Paul Eidem jammed from the small blind into his opponent in the big blind.

His opponent thought for a few brief moments before moving the rest of his chips into the pot to put himself at risk with one card to come.

Big Blind: 109
Paul Eidem: Q10

Both players had top pair, but to stave off elimination the player in the big blind would have to pair his inferior kicker on the river.

Unfortunately for the big blind, the river came the 3 and made his exit from the tournament area official.
